RYAN BROWN · FOUNDER & STRATEGY DESIGNER

I wanted systems
I could question.

I started trading in 2005 while touring internationally as a classical pianist with The 5 Browns. After buying signals, courses, and bots that didn’t hold up, I began designing my own trading systems in 2015.

I founded Responsible Forex Trading in 2020. Today I design and test the strategies and work with experienced developers to build Powerhouse and Architect for MT5.

WHY I BUILT RFT

The questions became
part of the product.

A result means more when I can see what produced it, what risk it took, and what happened when it stopped winning.

01

Test beyond the good month.

Long histories and forward trading help reveal weaknesses that a short winning period can hide. They do not make future results certain.

02

Keep risk visible.

Drawdowns, exposure, and losing periods belong in the conversation alongside returns. I want customers to understand the setup before running it.

03

Make the starting point usable.

Powerhouse and Architect include supplied strategies, installation tools, and guidance. You can begin by evaluating a working setup.

A QUESTION I EXPECT

Why sell software
if I trade it myself?

Selling software is another income stream that helps fund development, testing, and diversification. A strong account record is not a reason to put everything into a single strategy.

I currently run 49 accounts testing different strategies across Powerhouse and Architect. A high win rate gets attention, but drawdown, sizing, losses, and the account’s full history are what help me judge an approach.

Trading involves substantial risk. Automated strategies, including grid and progressive position sizing, can experience substantial losses. Risk controls do not guarantee execution or cap every possible loss. Past performance does not guarantee future results. RFT provides self-directed software and education, not account management or individualized financial advice.
