GETTING STARTED
Getting Started
I watched the Leksi video. Which product do I need?
Leksi runs inside Architect Algo. It is one of the supplied strategies, so you can begin with its setup guidance without building the trading logic yourself.
Do I need MetaTrader 5?
Yes. Powerhouse and Architect are built for MetaTrader 5 and run inside your own live or demo brokerage account.
Are both products fully automated?
Both products can execute their supplied strategies automatically in MT5. You still select the settings, keep the platform running, and monitor the account. Powerhouse offers a coordinated portfolio; Architect adds more supplied strategies and optional customization.
Which product is the better fit for me?
Choose Powerhouse if you mainly want to select supplied strategies and a risk level and let the software handle the trading. Choose Architect if you also want deeper control over signals, filters, markets, AI behavior, risk, and execution.
Should I begin on a live account?
No. Install and verify every new setup on an MT5 demo account before considering live use. Learn the installation, settings, trade behavior, and risk characteristics first.
Do Powerhouse and Architect scale with account size?
Yes. Both are designed to scale position sizing with account size, allowing the strategy to compound as the account grows. How aggressively the software scales is determined by the risk level and strategy you choose. Higher-risk settings increase both potential returns and potential drawdowns.
Can Powerhouse and Architect be used on 30:1 leverage accounts?
The supported Powerhouse Low Risk configuration and Architect Northstar and Vigorous Momentum setups are intended for leverage as low as 30:1. Other strategy results, including Leksi, should not be treated as blanket compatibility approval. Check the current strategy guidance, broker symbols, balance, and settings on demo first.
Does a profitable tracked account guarantee my result?
No. Trading involves substantial risk. Different brokers, settings, market conditions, execution, deposits, withdrawals, and risk choices can produce different outcomes. Past performance never guarantees future results.
PURCHASE, LICENSING & INSTALLATION
Purchase, Licensing & Installation
How much do the products cost?
Powerhouse and Architect are each $348 as a one-time software purchase. Each includes two reusable MT5 account slots. Broker charges, optional VPS hosting, and personal-key AI usage, where selected, are separate.
Is there a free demo?
Both products offer a free 10-day demo without a credit card. Choose your product, install it on an MT5 demo account, and use the trial to understand configuration, trade sizing, and position management. Ten days cannot establish long-term profitability.
Do eligible purchases include a guarantee?
Eligible purchases include a 30-day money-back guarantee. Review the current purchase and guarantee terms before buying.
What does a purchase include?
Each product is a one-time purchase and includes two reusable MT5 account slots. You can change the linked accounts through the RFT License Portal. Additional reusable account slots are available separately.
How do the two reusable account slots work?
Use the software on up to two MT5 accounts at a time—one demo and one live account, or any two accounts you choose. Log into the RFT License Portal whenever you want to remove a linked account and replace it with another. Additional reusable slots are available for $100 each.
How difficult are Powerhouse and Architect to install?
The installer is designed to place the software in MT5 quickly, with an approximately 30-second installation demonstrated in RFT’s guidance. Account connection, permissions, and reviewing the settings take additional time. You do not need to code or manually build the supplied strategies.
Can RFT install the software for me?
Yes. If you need help installing Powerhouse or Architect, RFT can handle the installation for you for a one-time $100 consulting fee.
POWERHOUSE
Powerhouse
Who is Powerhouse designed for?
Powerhouse is designed for traders who want an uncomplicated way to get started with automated MT5 trading. It supplies six automated strategies, so you do not need to build trading logic yourself.
Do I need my own OpenAI API key for Powerhouse?
No. RFT Central provides the shared AI sentiment context without requiring a separate customer API connection.
Does Powerhouse use Grid and Martingale trading?
Yes. Powerhouse uses Grid trading and progressive/Martingale-style position sizing within its supplied strategies, but it is not designed as an unlimited classic Martingale system. Strategy rules, controlled spacing, volatility filters, timing controls, selectable risk levels, and account-level equity protection are used to define exposure.
Does Powerhouse eliminate risk?
No. Forex and automated trading involve substantial risk. Risk presets and equity protection help manage exposure but cannot guarantee a maximum loss or prevent every adverse outcome.
What platform does Powerhouse use?
Powerhouse is built for MetaTrader 5 and installs into a supported MT5 broker platform. Any or all supplied strategies can be installed with the automatic installer.
Do I need a VPS for Powerhouse?
A VPS is strongly recommended for continuous 24/5 automation. Powerhouse can run on a personal computer, but the terminal, internet connection, and computer must remain active whenever you expect the strategies to operate. If you would like to use a VPS, view the ForexVPS option here ↗.

What starting balance is recommended for Powerhouse?
When using all six strategies, including Vigorous, the recommended starting balances are $5,000 for High risk, $10,000 for Medium risk, and $20,000 for Low risk. If Vigorous is not used, the recommended starting balances are $3,000 for High risk, $6,000 for Medium risk, and $12,000 for Low risk. These are planning guidelines—not guarantees—and actual requirements can vary with broker leverage, spreads, market conditions, and selected settings.
Can Powerhouse be used with U.S. FIFO-regulated brokers?
Yes. Powerhouse can be used with U.S. FIFO-regulated brokers. The Low risk preset, with its 7.5% equity-protection level, is recommended. The Medium risk preset, with a 15% equity-protection level, can also be used but carries greater risk under U.S. retail-forex leverage limits. Always confirm the broker, symbols, leverage, and account settings on demo first.
Can Powerhouse be used at prop firms?
Powerhouse includes a dedicated 4.75% equity-protection preset designed for prop-firm accounts. Prop-firm rules differ, so confirm the firm’s drawdown, trading, news, holding, and automation requirements before use and test the complete setup on demo first.
ARCHITECT
Architect
Do I need to build a strategy to use Architect?
No. Architect includes 16 supplied strategies and is designed to be useful before you customize or build anything.
Who is Architect designed for?
Architect is designed for traders who want a ready-to-run starting point with more control over strategies, markets, filters, AI behavior, risk, and execution.
Does AI control every Architect trade?
No. Defined strategy rules control execution. AI adds sentiment and market context according to the behavior you select.
Is Architect an AI trading bot?
Architect uses AI sentiment and analysis as additional market context, but AI does not replace the underlying strategy rules. Architect is algorithmic trading software for MT5 with supplied automated strategies plus configurable signals, filters, markets, risk, exits, and execution controls.
Can I use my own AI provider with Architect?
Supported personal-key strategies can use your own OpenAI or Claude (Anthropic) API key. Other supplied strategies can use RFT Central for shared sentiment context without requiring a personal key.
Will more Architect strategies be added?
That is the intent. Future RFT-designed and community-built strategies may join the Architect library after review, testing, and documentation. No fixed release schedule is promised.
What platform does Architect use?
Architect is designed for MetaTrader 5 and runs through your own supported brokerage account.
Does Architect use Grid or progressive position sizing?
Some supplied Architect strategies use grid-style entries and progressive position sizing, while others use different execution models. These techniques can increase exposure during adverse movement. Review the documentation, starting-balance guidance, and equity-protection settings for each strategy before live use.
Do I need a VPS for Architect?
A VPS is strongly recommended for continuous 24/5 automation. Architect can run on a personal computer, but the terminal, internet connection, and computer must remain active whenever you expect the strategies to operate. If you would like to use a VPS, view the ForexVPS option here ↗.

Can Architect be used with U.S. FIFO-regulated brokers?
Selected supplied strategies are identified as FIFO-compatible, including configurations designed around U.S. retail-forex constraints. Compatibility depends on the specific strategy, broker symbols, leverage, and account settings, so verify the complete installation on demo first.
Can Architect be used at prop firms?
Potentially, but prop-firm rules differ. Confirm the firm’s drawdown, news, holding, lot-size, and automation requirements before use. Choose appropriate equity protection and test the exact configuration on demo before attempting an evaluation.
What starting balance is recommended for Architect?
We generally recommend $3,000 as a practical starting point, but the amount depends on the strategy or combination you choose. Some supplied strategies can be used with balances as low as $200, while more demanding combinations may call for around $12,000. For U.S. FIFO-regulated brokers, the Northstar AUDCAD strategy can be started with as little as $1,000. These are planning guidelines rather than guarantees.
